Cobrançosa is one of Portugal's most valued olive varieties, widely planted in the northeast (Trás-os-Montes) and Alentejo for its aromatic, well-structured oil. Expect a distinctive nose of dried fruit and green apple over fresh herbs, with a robust, stable body, good polyphenols and a peppery finish. It is disease-resistant and dependable, and frequently anchors Portuguese DOP blends alongside Galega and Madural.
